Watch: Away from IPL, India coach Rahul Dravid goes scuba diving in Maldives

All the top Indian cricketers and most of the foreign names are currently involved in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. However, one person who is integral to Indian cricket at present is Rahul Dravid. The coach of the Indian cricket team is on a much needed break and he is spending his time well. In recent videos and pictures shared on social media, Dravid can be seen spending quality time in Maldives and also went scuba diving.

“The wall submerges! Enjoyed diving with Rahul Dravid and his family. His attention to detail, eagerness to understand the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of things being done will one day make him a good diver as a cricketer. Banadegi which he undoubtedly has,” Nikhil Chinnapa, a VJ and reality show anchor, wrote about Dravid’s experience in Maldives.

India’s top stars may be busy with the IPL but head coach Rahul Dravid and his team will gather at the National Cricket Academy on Tuesday to prepare for the World Test Championship final in June.

India will take on Australia at The Oval from June 7-11 for their second consecutive appearance in the World Test Championship final. With injuries to key players in the team like fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer and key overseas match-winner Rishabh Pant, there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed ahead of the big final.

The workload management aspect also needs to be looked at keeping in mind the ODI World Cup.
