CPL 2023 to start from August 16, within 3 after the end of India series

The 2023 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) will start on 16 August and run till 24 September. The tournament will clash with ‘The Hundred’ for the third year in a row. England’s white-ball competition is to be played from August 1 to August 27. Meanwhile, the West Indies players involved in the CPL will have a busy schedule in the July-August period, with India touring the Caribbean island for 2 Tests. , 3 ODIs, and 3 T20Is. The tour will start with the Test series while the last two T20 matches are likely to be held in Florida, USA on August 12 and 13.

Meanwhile, the CPL will continue to take place in a caravan model with five venues hosting matches. Barbados is back to host the T20 tournament for the first time since 2019. In addition, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, and Nevis, Trinidad, and Tobago, and Guyana will host games during the 11th edition of the CPL.

St. Lucia – Darren Sammy Stadium – 16 to 20 August

St Kitts & Nevis – Warner Park – 23 to 27 August

Barbados – Kensington Oval – 30 August to 3 September

Trinidad and Tobago – September 5 to 10

Guyana – September 13 to 24 (including playoff and final).

At each venue, the respective home side will get to play four matches.
