The family background of Kolkata Knight Riders star Rinku Singh is no longer a mystery to any cricket fan. Kings XI Punjab, now known as Punjab Kings, bought Rinku ahead of IPL 2017 at his base price of Rs 10 lakhs. Rinku took a big leap in the next season as this player was bought by KKR for Rs 80 lakhs. Since then he has remained a part of the franchise.

As the hostel is being constructed on the land of Aligarh Cricket School and Academy spread over 15 acres owned by the district association, the new facility will also save time for cricket aspirants.
Masoodaj-Zafar Amini said, “He (Rinku Singh) always wanted to build a hostel for young sportspersons who do not have the financial resources to fulfill their dreams.
