In the 37th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rajasthan Royals (RR) are hosting Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Thursday. While CSK arisn the top of the points table with five wins, the Royals are third with four wins from seven matches. The match is being played at RR’s fort but before the game, they have got a big blow as Trent Boult is not playing the encounter.

The left-arm pacer has provided a top-class start to the Royals in most of the matches, picking up at least one wicket in his first over. But this will not happen in the match against CSK. Samson confirmed at the toss that Boult is missing the game due to injury and Adam Zampa replaced him in the playing XI.

“We would like to bat first. We like to stick to our strengths, which is to defend. It feels great to play RR’s 200th game, it feels great to play for 10 years. Seeing some pink here today Would love to but it’s yellow and we know the reason why (smiles). Boult misses out due to an injury, Zampa is playing in his place,” Samson said at the toss.

It is also the 200th IPL game for Rajasthan Royals in IPL history. They have become the seventh team to reach the milestone and the franchise will be hoping that the team wins the historic encounter against CSK.
