Mumbai Indians Predicted XI vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, IPL 2023: Will Jofra Archer Make His Way Back?

Mumbai Indians defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by five wickets in their previous IPL 2023 match. The five-time champion team will now take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The match against KKR was memorable as MI included Arjun Tendulkar and Dwayne Johnson in their playing XI. Chasing a target of 186, the biggest contribution came from Ishan Kishan, who scored 58 off 25 balls. For the last three matches, Mumbai have been missing the services of their star pacer Jofra Archer, who has been ruled out due to an elbow injury. It will be interesting to see whether Archer will make a comeback in the playing XI.

MI, who struggled in the first two matches, now look to field a very balanced side with Tilak Verma also in good touch, while the flamboyant duo of Cameron Green and Tim David also matter the most.

In the bowling department, the clever Piyush Chawla has brought all his experience to the fore and has formed a formidable spin duo along with young Hrithik Shokeen.

In Archer’s absence, Riley Meredith has shouldered the responsibility in the last two games that he has played, but MI are yet to zero in on a steady pace unit that scored Jason Behrendorff’s try the other day.

Arjun Tendulkar and Dwayne Jansen were also handed IPL debuts on Sunday and it remains to be seen whether Mumbai Indians persist with the pair or not.

MI’s predicted XI vs SRH:Rohit Sharma (c), Ishan Kishan (wk), Cameron Green, Tilak Verma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tim David, Arjun Tendulkar, Dwayne Johnson/Jofra Archer, Hrithik Shokeen, Piyush Chawla, Riley Meredith.
